About

We build the anti-cheat we wanted for our own servers.

SentryAC is made by people who've run FiveM communities, dealt with the same cheaters and argued about the same false bans. That's shaped every decision in it.

Why SentryAC exists

We started SentryAC in [year] after running [our own roleplay server / a group of servers]. The anti-cheats we tried either missed the menus our players were actually using, or banned so many legitimate players that staff spent their evenings on appeals.

So we built our own: checks that confirm on the server before acting, a config you can read, and a dashboard that shows the evidence behind every ban. Other server owners asked to use it, and SentryAC became a product.

We're a small team based in [the UK], and we still play on the servers we protect.

How we decide what goes in.

Four rules we come back to whenever we add a detection or change how something works.

01

Fair before fast

A false ban costs a server a player. We'd rather take a few more seconds to confirm a detection than act on a single bad packet.

02

Owners stay in control

Every check can be switched off, tuned or set to only log. You decide what happens on your server, not us.

03

Honest about limits

No anti-cheat catches everything. We say so, publish what each detection does, and fix false positives quickly when they're reported.

04

Light on the server

Protection that costs you frame time isn't worth having. We measure every release against a busy server before it ships.

What we're not.

Not part of Cfx.re or Rockstar

SentryAC is independent. It runs as a normal resource and follows the FiveM platform's rules.

Not a black box

Every detection is documented, and every ban comes with the evidence behind it.

Not funded by your data

We're paid by server owners. We don't sell data or run ads. See our privacy policy.

The team.

Small on purpose, so the people building SentryAC are the same people answering your questions.
